Eyebrow Microblading also known as micropigmentation is a semi-permanent makeup procedure to improve the aesthetics of your eyebrows. It gives a natural crisp look to your face giving it an extra edge.
It is a hassle-free way to shape your eyebrows, and it is done as per your face type.
In eyebrow microblading, a blade-shaped tool with tiny needles is used to create hair-like strokes by depositing pigment into the skin.
It is best for people who want to reconstruct their thinning brows, sparse eyebrows or just enhance their natural shape.
To deposit the pigment, the doctor makes feather-weight strokes on the top layer of the skin, creating realistic natural-looking hair strokes.
This results in very fine naturally shaped eyebrows. The results last for 12-18 months.
Doctor will assess your skin type and guide you thoroughly about how it will be done and what to expect.
After proper cleansing Doctor will do the proper symmetric marking of the eyebrows as per your face type and for numbing effect a topical anesthetic ointment would be applied which will show its effect in 40 mins.
Once the area has been numbed, tattooing the pigments begins. The colour settles into the skin with superficial strokes. As microblading is done in layers numbing cream is applied in between subsequent layers. Then the doctor will go over the original strokes a few more times with the pigment to create the final look.
Within the next eight weeks, a touch-up session is done to fill in any gaps where the pigment hasn’t taken or healed properly. After the eyebrow microblading is complete, don’t panic if the pigment colour looks extremely dark. The final shade of the microbladed eyebrow will be softer and fade a little after 10 to 12 days.
Slight swelling, redness, and flaking are all common after microblading in the first 7 days. Do not scratch the irritated skin. Microbladed eyebrows will take about a month to fully heal.
Eyebrow Microblading aftercare is very important. Avoid sweating, wetting your eyebrows and being in the sun for 7 days after eyebrow micro blading. The colour is usually darker in the first few days then the fading process will start. If you think the pigment is too dark or light, it can be fixed in your touch-up session.
